- EXACT FIT: Designed fit for 2007-2014 Chevy Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 short bed models, this over-axle rear frame repair kit fits both 2WD and 4WD trucks and helps you confirm fitment before ordering. Not compatible with long bed models
- WELD-ON INSTALLATION: This weld-on repair section is best suited for experienced installers or professional repair shops using proper cutting and welding tools. In many applications, it can be installed without removing the front bed frame, while fuel tank removal is recommended for better access and welding safety
- BUMP STOP MOUNT: Comes assembled with the rear axle bump stop mount and is designed to weld to the uppermost part of the frame after removing the original mount with a torch, plasma, or cut-off tool. The original bump stop can be reused and remounted, and an m10-1.5 weld nut is included
- OVER-AXLE COVERAGE: Designed to repair the rear frame at the bump stop over the rear axle, this section fits between the rear fuel tank crossmember and the rear shock crossmember, helping you identify the correct repair zone without confusing it with a mid-rear frame section

E-COATED STEEL: Built from durable steel with an E-Coated finish, this section measures approximately 24.75 in. long and includes driver and passenger sides for complete over-axle repair planning. For better long-term corrosion protection, weld seams should be sealed or touched up after installation
